Ibas y venías
Y yo té quise cada vez
Yesterday i went over to IBAS (International Brasil Air Show), the biggest aviation expo in Brazil at the moment, it happened on Galeão International airport and was an absolute BLAST, although there was only a couple of planes, the activities made it all worth it. The list of planes that were at the expo is: Boeing 747-8 from Lufthansa (Registry D-ABYD); Embraer E-195 from Azul Linhas Aéreas (Registry PR-AXH); Embraer A-29A Super Tucano from Brazilian Air Force's demonstration team Esquadrilha da Fumaça, the one on display was the number 7; Brazilian Air Force H-36 Caracal helicopter from 3°/8° GAV; Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules from Brazilian Air Force (couldn't identify the squadron because it only made a brief appearance at the end when it was taxiing to takeoff). Apart from the normal planes that go through the airport everyday (737-800s and A320s), a Boeing 747-8F from Atlas Air showed up making an awesome take off. I can only say that i was really happy to be there and now my next objective is to go to EAA see the F-15s and F-16s. I also included two photos of myself, i'm the guy with the smile going from ear to ear on the E-195's cockpit and in front of the B-747-8 (i'm still impressed by the huge size of the 747). Well, that's all! 😀
