Because Music tends to be connected with a strand of French electronica. Think of the fact how many that attempted to do something in the vein Daft Punk ended up at Because Music. True, that’s not completely true at all, because these mostly did as I have said the approximations of the development of Daft Punk’s debut. However, very few that were in the vicinity of the style tried to get what Daft Punk achieved with Random Access Memories. Ibifornia by Cassius feels like the most obvious give-me-the-Daft-Punk-formula platter, but there was a problem – Cassius were not Daft Punk, they were different. Then again, one can also claim they tried to go beyond what Cassius were and we can only applaud them for that.

French electronic music from the 90's on doesn't really rely much on the notion of cool. Then again, the same could apply to their fellow countrymen in the past within the idiom. What I'm trying to claim here refers to the fact that the musicians from France who are a part of the machine brand don't seem to care about the perception of them. I mean, many outfits would be afraid they might be accused of jumping on a bandwagon thanks to Ibifornia, yet Cassius went along anyway. Sure, you can tell they took a lot of clues from Random Access Memories by Daft Punk, but some reviews that mocked them for this forgot one thing, i.e. Cassius are completely different from the other duo. However, both of them don't give a damn about sounding cheesy.
