Enter Ramadan in a state of Tawbah

Shaykh ibn Baz (رَحِمَهُ الله) said:

"Have concern for repentance before the entrance of this noble month in order that it enters upon you whilst you are within security from your sins (after) Allah had removed them from you by way of Tawbah, and true resolve to be upright within Ramadan."

Shaykh 'Abdul- 'Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baaz (رَحِمَهُ الله) said:

"The foundation of the deen of Islam is to surrender to Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) through Tawheed, sincerity, abandoning Shirk, and submitting to Allah by carrying out His commands and giving up His prohibitions. This is the very meaning of Islam itself."

How to be certain that you catch Laylatul-Qadr

Imam Ibn Baaz (رَحِمَهُ الله) said:

"Whoever is diligent during all of the last ten nights upon prayer, Qur'an, Du'a, and other than it from the avenues of goodness has caught Laylatul-Qadr without doubt, and has successfully attained that which Allah has promised those who stands during it out of Iman and seeking the reward from Allah."
