Now that it's past Bonfire Night (sorry Americans, I don't care about Thanksgiving), I think it's about time for me to encourage any InTheLittleWood fans who started watching him post 2015 to check out A Christmas ADVENTure come December. (Summary of the series under the cut)

It was basically an advent calendar as a Minecraft series. For every day of Advent, there was an episode in which the adventurers (Martyn (InTheLittleWood), Toby (SoTotallyToby), Lewis (xILubez), and Henry (iBuze) in the first 2 series or Elliot (MegaGWolf) in the last two series) would do some task or activity; sometimes Christmas related, sometimes story related, and sometimes miscellaneous. There were 4 series, the first of which was more casual and had more survival Minecraft elements, though it still had a story and a pre-made map, and the other three were more traditional adventure maps (the 2nd and 3rd even being available for download!), which were made with help from a variety of teams, including the Noxcrew.

It's such a delight watching the adventurers interact, it's got such fun stories—especially in the latter 3 series where the stories were more fleshed out—and there's several fun characters, including:

Aunty Sandy, Martyn's aunt. Introduced in the first adventure as the owner of the house the four are staying in, though she didn't become a major character until the second series.

Uncle Stefano, Martyn's uncle and Sandy's husband. Introduced in the second adventure; he shares a strange resemblance to Noxite.

Christmas Spirit, an invisible player in a santa costume. Introduced in the second adventure; he helps the adventurers when they need guidance or face technical difficulties, and also just hangs out with them sometimes.

Hank and Marvin, a pair of iron golems. Introduced in the first adventure; they are a perfect example of humans' ability to project personalities onto unliving things.

And many more, including both original characters, altered versions of classic Christmas characters, and several cameos from other Minecraft youtubers!

This series has been a staple of my Christmas since 2011. I've watched it every year, and it never fails to delight me. It's honestly a big part of why I even got back into MCYT, since it was the only Minecraft series I had watched for many years, and when my sister told me about this new series called 3rd Life which Martyn was taking part in, I decided I'd check it out, and as a result I found many youtubers who I adore, and it's rekindled my love for Minecraft as a game, both to play and to watch. If I hadn't watched ACA every year, I'm not sure whether I would have been as interested in watching 3rd Life.

In any case, it's an absolutely delightful series, and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who's a fan of InTheLittleWood.

(As a note, the first series had some days that were combined, and in those cases I put those episodes in the second day's section (so, for example, Day 11/12 is with the other series' Day 12). Just in case you get to the 11th and wonder why the video from the first series was missing).

I hope I've successfully convinced at least some people to watch it, as it's an absolute gem. Go go Xmas Warriors!

(I might’ve gotten some people mixed up I don’t know the yogscast very well, I got Henry and Lewis’s voices mixed up a lot at first) (also yes I am 100% gonna do one for s2)

Lewis: It was nice yesterday, we had a-an eventful uh- 

Martyn: You call that nice?! WE GOT ATTACKED!!! I got killed by a witch 3 times, the house blew up, and Toby still exists!! You call that nice?! 

- 

Lewis: We haven’t got a stocking filler now get your ass down here now, young man. 

Martyn: But, but, but- 

Henry: Get. Down. 

Lewis: Get down here yon-now young man. 

Toby: Straight to bedtime for you! without supper. 

Martyn: Oh god, how do I even get down from here? 

Lewis: Just jump. I’ll catch you.

Martyn: everyb-everyb-everybo- ’unintelligible’ com o’er ere!! EH-I fOund a bIg  bloody TREE!!!

Lewis: You somehow managed to make yourself a poison one didn’t you? 

Toby: No! I-I was-it was swiftness. 

Henry: You were being genuine! I thought you were trying to kill me!

Martyn: Ow. Oh, SHIT NO! NO! FUCK! NO! FU-NO THISISTHEWORSTIDEAEVER 

- 

Lewis: Oh I can enchant my festive poky stick here. 

- 

Lewis: Living here, with the Grinch I’ve come to expect this. 

Martyn: Yeah we just come to expect that our friends get kidnapped. 

- 

Martyn: Why do we always get impaled so much? 

- 

Henry: Cows! I’ve found some cows! 

Toby: *sheep noises* 

- 

Martyn: I swear we just do this like every 3 or 4 months we run out of content so we come back to the egg jokes. 

- 

Lewis: Beat the balls out of it. 

Toby: Beat the ball- you mean beat the eggs out of it? 

Lewis: Oh-yeah yeah. 

- 

Martyn: *trying to make a cake with sugar cane* Um, it-it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these- 

- 

Martyn: Good morning Henry

Henry: Morning!

Martyn: Good morning Toby

Toby: Morning!

Martyn: Good morning Lewis!

Lewis: *barfing noise* 

- 

Toby: Who put flowers in my milk? 

- 

Toby: *falls in lava* AHHH-AHHH NO! NO! 

Martyn: Oh Toby! 

Toby:  *pushes Henry into lava* 

Henry: WHAT?! Don’t punch me in! 

Martyn: *pushes Lewis into lava* Oh noooo! Oh nooo it’s such a travesty!

Martyn: You pulled on his crotch. Wow Toby. 

- 

Toby: Is it just me or did he say ‘on the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me Kate Moss’? 

Martyn: No??? 

Lewis: ‘Said 12 gold bars you idiot. 

- 

Toby: *choking on biscuits* ‘we gonna start that? 

Martyn: YES! Toby’s dying yaaay! 

- 

Lewis: Look at what we’ve done to that one! 

Martyn: Hah-god. Skinny ass tree. 

- 

Lewis: I am the acorn master. They call me squirrel boy! 

- 

Toby: You guys, grew a tree in me? 

Martyn: Yeah, it’s fine. 

Henry: TOBY it’s a children’s program! 

- 

Toby: If you were ever a farmer I’d call you farmer woody. 

Martyn: Farmer woody? 

Henry: It’s a children’s program! 

- 

Toby: Can I be really derpy and ask why we’re plantin’ trees around the christmas tree? 

Martyn: Because the christmas tree was a bit lonely! 

- 

Lewis: Alright mister ‘let me whip out my red one.’ 

Martyn: Yeah? That’s right-I don’t know what that means but ok-yeah! 

- 

Martyn: Oh my god the path is starting to fog up again, there we go. 

Toby: Fog up? 

Martyn: And I did say fog, not something else. 

Lewis: Fog off Toby. 

Henry: Uh, fog. 

Toby: Fog you too. 

Martyn: Ohhh snap. 

Henry: He went there. 

Martyn: Fog my life. 

*everyone continues to make fog jokes in the exact same way as the session 1 AHA jokes*

Martyn: *whispering to Toby* Oh I so wanna punch you right now. 

- 

Martyn: Did you fall to your death Toby? 

Toby: I did-I’ve- I’m sorry. 

Martyn: God, that wasn’t even our faults. 

- 

Martyn: How did you get stuck there? (in a chimney) 

Some dude: Well, can you guess who it was? 

Martyn: Oh, god- 

Henry: Toby. 

- 

Henry: Not many people have a walk-in calendar, Toby.
