if IBVS had a logo, what color scheme would be most suitable for this fandom?
I've actually been using this typeset as a logo, but if someone wants to make their own, I tend to associate the story with soft browns and shades of orange.

hi!! i have had this question brewing for a bit. just brief things, but i was wondering about a small peak into the jocks parents? like, divorced, or married, etc etc; idk if this matters to the lore at all but i was trying to do something w a friend of mine we know codys got both and many siblings, so probably together louis has his sister, so i assume both parents are still together (also for some reason his uncle also has a cloak, idk if thats a family thing orrr...) james is an only child, his parents are unknown? i would assume they are your casual sports parents, divorced or just. there(distant) good justin is an only child too, so, is his parents married, divorced, or something else?
felixs parents are obviously absent and busy a lot evil justins parents are god knows where, so he seems to stick with felix a lot. no idea where theyre at and ethan has an adopted brother, nolan, but is like TERRIFIED?? i know its as a joke though - hows the parents thing w him anyway?
ok you know since we're on this topic this is actually a great opportunity for me to share this picture; I wanted to wait until I've drawn every single parent but it's going to take 75896 business days so here is a small handful of them.
for all the jocks who aren't here:
felix's family is kind of an Evil™ version of barry's family. I do not know if I've mentioned this but his dad owns a business probably called Wolfe Enterprises or something and his mom is a lawyer. yes his mom was his dad's lawyer before they got married. yes it's weird.
evil justin is uh. still a mystery if I'm being real. though I feel like he might be a youngest brother whose siblings are adults.
ethan's parents are divorced and he and nolan live with their mom.
louis and laurel's parents are together, though an undetermined number of extended family members also live there. their home is like a major family property that's been passed down through the generations since like the late 19th century. everyone in their family has a cloak on standby in case you were wondering.
so yeah I think that's about all for now 👍
have you ever posted any dillains that can be referenced? I don't remember or spot any
I could have sworn I posted something ages ago but I can't even find anything in my computer files
I was wondering, is the boys basketball team at Foxfield actually any good ?? I’m not so much asking for like specific rankings, more like their win to lose ratio,,
probably! it would be kind of insane if the School King That Everyone In Foxfield Knows Basketball Team actually sucked LMAO that would be really funny though
they are definitely not an invincible team, just like. pretty good, but when they lose edward goes full danganronpa and is like "oh no! everyone's going to think I'm a fraud!" and I imagine everyone is like "wow! even the school king has bad games! he's so manly and cool and human just like us"
Do football players have sports uniforms that the school gives them?
It's just that basketball players have jackets, cheerleaders have sweaters and skirts, and other jocks like baseball and volleyball players must also have branded clothing in order for them to compete on behalf of the school
Or do I not quite understand how it works?
I mean generally I imagine they're just the really big jerseys that go over football gear. but because felix wolfe is felix wolfe, they probably have Special Inverted Jerseys that he personally designed.
as for the jackets, they aren't actually exclusive to the basketball team. anyone can buy one, it's just that letterman jackets are generally associated with people who play sports. the item that would be associated with the basketball team would be their jerseys.
did isaac always have his long hair? or was it one day he was like “yeah i’m gonna grow it out for the hell of it” thing. cause he also seems like the type to have a bowl cut as a child
tbh I imagine him as having had even longer hair when he was younger. when he turned 13 or so he (as in his mom or dad) probably cut a bunch of it off and then it grew into what it currently is
(below you will see a hastily scrapped together collection of various ibvs tots, bottom left is isaac)
Hello, Kai-sama! Random question"s"...sorry
Can Justin speak or write Korean?
Also, do Niki, Cory, and Justin like East Asian food? (I’m not sure if people who were born and raised in the U.S. and have grown up eating typical American dishes will actually come to like authentic East Asian cuisine…)
I’m also curious if any of them have ever been to Japan, China, or South Korea…
justin only knows a little korean, because only his mom is korean and his family mostly only speaks english at home.
I would say they do like and are accustomed to east asian food; it's common for kids who have parents from those cultures to grow up eating those foods because their parents were cooking them. justin loves food so he will try basically anything, and he would've grown up eating a lot of korean food made by his mom. and niki's parents were both born and raised in japan, so most of the food she'd be eating at home would be east asian. in the US, you don't always have access to the right ingredients unless you live near an asian market, so most meals will be asian-american fusion food lol. for cory, he is also eats predominantly east asian food at home, and he was raised to not be very picky.
when it comes to food in the US, almost all the food here is the result of a specific culture moving here and then trying to recreate their home country's food with local ingredients (which is why we have things like american italian food, american chinese food and texmex). so if you live in a place that has a diverse population and high immigration rate, more kinds of cuisine will have been absorbed into the local culture. so kids who grow up in areas with more cultural variance (and with parents who take the time to introduce them to new kinds of food) tend to be exposed to more kinds of food, as opposed to kids who grow up in heavily white rural areas. most american staple foods are foods that evolved from other cultures that came to live here. so many of us are very used to eating lots of different kinds of food!
by the way, niki and cory have visited their parents' home countries (niki probably visits almost every year), but justin has only been to south korea maybe once or twice.
Ok question, did Chris and dillain know they were going to the same school AGAIN? If yes why didn't Chris suspect dillain to be the one to blow up the school, considering his previous track record? Back in chapter 1 Edward mentions that fresh was already trying to dethrone Edward, so he should have already been going to Foxfield when Chris transferred. Did they miraculously never run into each other? Did Chris not recognize him cuz of the new look? He seemed surprised in the last chapter to see dillain so maybe that's it. Actually how long was he in juvie anyway, when did all that happen?
in my imagination when chris transferred to foxfield the dillain sightings were minimal. I think dillain was cooking up a scheme (his demon deal) to dethrone edward during the month that chris was there before chris realized dillain was at the same school. there's honestly a non zero chance that dillain never went to class during the entire time chris was there. he possibly just disappeared for a month and edward was anticipating his inevitable return. either way, I think chris barely ever saw him, and they're in different years, and chris tends to choose to not acknowledge things he doesn't want to believe are there. if I can actually get the next chapter done this trait of his will become very apparent
