What a stupid mistake she made, she kissed him just so he could leave her alone. Of course, it wouldn't work! Why did she even try it in the first place?! Oh and why in all of the 7 realms did he refer to her love like THAT?! She has heard all kinds of things as the goddess of love, but none reach that level of...! of cringe!

But she can't be seen with this idiot on her tail! He's so loud that it will just call more attention to her- and that's one of the last things that she could want at this very second. Freyja turns around to look at him, face very red out of anger? embarrassment? who knows! but she wants this over and done with.

Grabbing Sain by the collar she doesn't even give him any time to react before giving him one of the most passionate kisses she could muster. Perhaps sends a message, the correct one at least- the last thing Freyja needed was for him to start believing she wants someone like him around her.

"There! Is that enough for you?! Be gone from my sight already!" How embarrassing! How... frustrating! She doesn't even give Sain the chance to respond before storming off.

Sain is fucking lost. A recent errand from the Knights of Seiros bade him enter Abyss to hand off some confidential church documents. The idea is that even if Sain decided to talk, nobody would believe him--knowing how he is.

And so it is with great misfortune that he happens upon Freyja, who he forgets all about his predicament in favor of.

"O queen of infallible wisdom, won't you help my poor soul? I seem to have gotten lost... In your labyrinth of love! I require only your name to find my way, and you company to be a free man once more!"

"Won't you take pity on this accursed lover...?"

Usually, the Abyss is quiet, and Freyja certainly likes it! No one tends to come down here unless absolutely necessary and vice versa. So of course, if anyone new comes down here, it's very obvious from the beginning and it seems today is one of those days. It was so obvious that Sain was lost- as if you released a puppy for the first time and it struggled to find its way back to its mother. For the most part, Freyja just ignored him, in hopes he would somehow just completely ignore her and find his objective.

Sadly that wasn't the case. Why does everything have to be so difficult?

He only opened his mouth and honestly? Freyja already had enough of him- she is already imagining what terrible nightmare she could give to this tiny man. Oh and the way he was speaking to her? It almost made her wonder if he knew she was the queen of nightmares, but that is impossible, no one remembers the dream realm. "I am certain you are not here to talk to me, Sir Hopeless Romantic." She stopped what she was doing, what an imposing expression... "I am very busy to be talking to the likes of you- but if it makes you leave me alone. The name is Freyja" Such threatening aura.. "the person who is waiting for those papers to be delivered would want them by now- surely you wouldn't wish to be struck down on day one, correct?"

Hopefully, her point is made clear- and he will leave her alone.

[ Cue the Music ]

Seems he wasn't the only one not caught by the enchanting atmosphere and its accompanying revelry. Valter was not one to feel camaraderie so easily, but he finds himself striding up to her, offering a handshake.

" Valter. " Then he points to the performers, putting their heart and soul into their music. " Watch. "

He hardens a glare at one in particular, bowing away at a viol. While nothing occurs at first, a moment comes when their eyes lock, the violist startles, and then they look away, disconcerted.

" They get uncomfortable if you stare, " he explains with a chuckle.

Freyja takes one look at the man in front of here, she judged him rather harshly, watching as he extended his hand for a handshake. There was no handshake for a bit, before ultimately, it was brief- she wasnt much of a handshaker.

"Freyja, cant say it's much of a pleasure" what a sore sight, but she keeps it to herself as she watches the man intimdates the violist, the way it cowered reminded her of something she cant put her finger on it.

"I believe I'd find it more intresting if you did it to those spirits over their- much more worth my attention if that's what youre trying." She added after a minute of silence, it was rather amusing though, A+ for effort.

Champagne: This isn’t a church-run event anymore, so the bar is open and flows freely. The waiter-mice might give you judging looks if you make a fool of yourself, and really, how low do you have to go to be judged by a mouse?

"Good evening, my lady. It's a pleasure to see you." Elincia hands the queen of the dokkalfr a crystalline glass of champagne. A jaunty melody floats upon the air as the miniature band plays. "Care to dance with me? It seems like a fun way to get these flowers to bloom!"

The queen had a sour look on her face , she stood off to the side as she scoffs at the others. What a party pooper-- Freyja leans against an empty part of the table. Most mousy waiters seem to puropusefully walk around her- maybe the mice could feel her overwhelming... anger.

And Freyja was very content to just sit there and grumble the evening away, yet here comes Elincia; drinks in her hands, even offering one to Freyja. She takes the drink, looking down at the glass. "Lady Elincia, thank you for the caring gift" taking a sip as she thinks about the offer given to her. Dancing isn't out of the ordinary for her- in fact it felt incredibly familar. "I hate to say I am not the best at dancing but I do not mind in joining you this evening."

How did they end up this way? The man did not look like the fighting type yet he happened to want a challenge? She somehow won this fight, barely, if she were at her fullest potential this fight would've ended in seconds. Freyja wipes the blood from her face, is it her own? or Sephiran's? it's not like it matters. She staggers towards him, leaning down to pick him up by the collar.

"You... You're one of a kind, Whatever motivated this-- know that I will never forget." Small and quick, the kiss did not last. She did not want the taste of blood on her lips.

Not even bothered to take him somewhere to heal, Freyja walks off quickly retreating to the Abyss.

🐐 Well, well, well, look who it is, back from the dead. The boy summoner really should've expected this, or at least anticipated it, considering the circumstances of both Askr and the monastery. That doesn't make seeing the Dökkálfr queen here any less of a surprise, though whether it's a good one or a bad one remains to be seen.

'Freyja,' he writes, 'what brings you here? Last I heard, we'd defeated you and ended the everlasting nightmare, so what gives? Álfheimr and Zenith not interesting enough for you anymore?'

Okay, he's being a little rude, and Dad would totally scold him for it if he were here. (You can't just do that though, trick a guy who chooses not to speak into speaking. So maybe Rose is still a little sour over that whole bait-and-switch.) Also now that he's thinking about it, maybe she's from a different time?

Rose winces, then amends, 'Sorry, I'm not exactly over our conflict, it seems. Uh... anyway, welcome to Garreg Mach?'

That was a terrible welcome, Dad is absolutely gonna lecture him on his hospitality when he gets back home.

Just at the sight of Rose, It was enough to peeve Freyja off enough, if it weren't for the laws of this land she'd crush them here and now-! But how unsightly would that be? To commit a crime not even a day after arriving at this place.

" Do you think I want to see or speak to the likes of you?! " She snarled, clearly still feeling VERY negative about the entire incident. "You're lucky I'm not the same person I once was, I'm deciding to let you walk away in one piece." The death of her brother... and one of the said murderers is standing right in front of her

"Whatever." Freyja brushes the welcome off, clearly not interested in continuing with this conversation any longer.

This lady had horns! Finally, something familiar!

"Sooooo..." Carina drags the word out as she approaches the other woman with a smile, pointing to the weird gem in her possession. At least, it looked like a gem? With an almost book-like frame.

"What's that supposed to be? I don't suppose it's something you can hit enemies over the head with?"

Freyja raises her eyebrows in interest, huh.... another person with horns? perhaps theyre from her world?? No... She would remember someone like her.

Especially with that vivid red hair. She seemed curious about the weapon Freyja was holding- to be completely honest she didnt know what it was... but it had to be from Zenith, she could feel it.

"Its from my homeland, Its just.... a special tome, I cast magic with it" That should be enough, hopefully "Thought in my opinion... its a bit over the top." Freyja sighs, shaking her head.

It’s hard to miss a pair of horns like this woman’s. Legault’s sure he’s seen her beneath the monastery. Might not be a bad thing, getting friendly with a neighbor.

“You know, I really thought the kids up here would be a little better behaved. But would you believe it? On my trip to the market beside the school, it took hardly five minutes before there were little hands darting toward my coin purse.”

His own nimble fingers roll and twirl the thin handle of a teaspoon back and forth. He sighs softly.

“Kids these days...if they really need the coin then you’d hope they learn how to pick a better mark, mm?”

Freyja turned over to the man, raising her eyebrow curiously. "Is that so?" hadn't noticed it.. but perhaps maybe people don't really interact with her- shes apparently "large" and "scary". "People in need do whatever they can to get by... I cant exactly blame them" Freyja takes a quick drink of her tea.

"If it were me, I would love to help- regardless if they take the lessons or not" She gave a second chance to children in the past, and they hold their loyalty to her even after everything theyve been through. "No child should go through such terrible things..." Freyja finally mumbles, looking down at her cup with a small frown on her face.
