Sophie fidgeted nervously, her gaze locking with Caeldori’s. She could feel her heart beat quicken as she prepared herself for what she was about to say. Taking a deep breath, she looked away for a second before looking back at her girlfriend.

“Well you know that I love you a lot right. You make me so happy Caeldori! Ever since I’ve met you, you’ve always made me smile and laugh.You brighten up my day with your smile! Each moment is a memory that I cherish greatly! And..well I would love to be able to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Her cheeks flushed in nervousness and slight embarrassment from those words that poured out of her mouth. Sophie took another deep breath as she reached into the satchel she had, digging through it. A look of relief spread across her face as she pulled out a small velvet box, thanking herself for not being forgetful or clumsy this time. She ran her fingers over the cover before opening it, revealing a beautiful silver ring. Smiling, Sophie got down on one knee and stared back up at Caeldori, a bright expression on her face.

“Will you marry me?”

Dear Diary,

I’ve been dealing with some doubts about myself lately. I keep thinking that maybe I won’t ever be fit to be a knight like my father. He’s strong and talented and so many people look up to him! However, for me I can barely keep my horse in check and my ability is nowhere near his. I’m scared of falling in his shadow or one day disappointing him. I try and try but no matter how hard I try, I always fall behind. Well who am I trying to fool, almost everyone in the army knows of how much of a klutz I am on the battlefield. Well hopefully I can overcome these fears and thoughts,,,,I don’t like thinking them all that much. I have to stay positive! Maybe that’ll be one thing I can do right..

i am truly happy for lord kamui, and i hate that people would imply otherwise. i am a selfish being, yes, but i would never feel such a way towards him. truly, his happiness is my happiness. i never imagined myself having a chance– and i am tired of hearing people joke about it.

yes, i am… a selfish being. but i am not petty enough to feel anything negative about this. no one seems to understand just how i feel– lord kamui saved me from a life where i was nothing. i would not be who i am, or even here had it not been for his kindness. i still am nothing, but being by his side… without him, that would be an overwhelming feeling.

for people to assume that i would wrong lord kamui in such a way… it is infuriating.

... enough of that. today was... eventful. i've confused myself once again.
