Shard was a robotic hedgehog filled with embarrassment. How awesome and brave of him to run away from Silver after that. It was just a crush! A big deal! But he dealt with worse with Silver! He faced killer wizards or whatever, and went on deadly missions, but somehow a crush was the thing he’d run away from.
Right now he’s drawing hearts into the dirt with his finger and smudging them, only to draw them again.
