                      certainly, it wasn't fun to be a seventh year student, but                       a few people just took it too far. some kids would study                       every hour of every day, and it annoyed rose to no end.                        why waste a whole year of your life with your face in a textbook?

                      that being said, severus snape wasn't the most infuriating                       of all such students ( at least he was sure to pass all                       his classes, unlike a few of the more tragic cases -- )                       and yet here he was, still awake late on sunday night,                       staring at some papers as if they were going to reveal                       to him all the secrets of the universe. rose scoffed,                       leaning against the wall opposite him.
