suguru was, to put it plainly, distracted. it was making doing his latest mission report hell, leaving him wondering if he should just ask satoru to come up with some sort of excuse for him to give yaga-sensei. then again, every time satoru gave some lame excuse, he ended up with a fist to the head, so maybe he should do the report for his own safety.
but how could he focus when memories of the night before were still gripping his every thought, keeping him from thinking of anything else.
their lips had been rough but still so soft, their jaw scratchy in his palms as he'd held their face-
heavy footsteps approaching the common area brought suguru's attention back to the present, pulling the pen he was chewing on from his mouth. he didn't have to look back as the door opened, well aware of who those footsteps belonged to by now.
his heart fluttered a bit.
"morning, senpai. get up to anything fun last night?" he teased, finally glancing over to the hulking form of @kusattainu standing in the doorway. it made suguru's heart flip, his thoughts that were stuck in the past now painfully present. maybe they could make some new memories right now?
"by the way... why did you kiss me?"
getting up from the desk, suguru laughed softly at the question. a very suiren question, one that made them all the more endearing. everything about them was irresistible, really.
"why?" his brow arched, giving them a coy smile, one that would probably be lost on them, but he didn't mind. "isn't it obvious, fudo? i kissed you because i wanted to. i kissed you because i like you." he stopped in front of them, head tilting up to look into their face, avoiding looking directly into their eyes. unable to help it, he reached up, cupping their jaw in his hands once more, just like the night before.
"as more than a friend." he added, figuring the clarification would be welcome.
