Seagull Nebula - The astrophotography learning curve is a very long and steep one! I'm slowly learning more, getting better bit by bit, and overcoming hurdles towards achieving the results I want. But even so, it feels like I'm going so slowly! This photo was my first of this target, and the first to use 5min long sub-exposures. I've worked out autoguiding, and am having fewer struggles with computer control of everything, and yet it feels like I'm going backwards with my telescope's collimation. I am doing everything right according to all the guides I can find online, but my images are consistently soft, and the edges and corners seem to be getting worse and worse! I think I'm going to have to call on the help of my expert friends! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this image.
