I see you're face enough without it sitting on my bed." Divinity then gave him a teasing smile and pushed up her glasses. It was rare for her to see him around now since he hated overtime and she was no longer at FOMO.

Over and over again Divinity told herself that she was helping. She convinced herself that she was being a good friend as she sat her with one of the top ten heroes, Smile. Who was she to deter a cute Disney like story of a family reuniting? At least, that was what she was telling herself. In reality, it probably looked like a betrayal or even worst replacement considering she was here with Smile and not her friend, his actual daughter.
"Don't you think you should be trying to reach out to your actual daughter, instead of using me as an intermediary? Not that I don't feel grateful I just worry she'll see it as you caring for other kids more than her again. " The raven hair girl finally opened up about the thought that had been plaguing the back of her mine for a while now. Maybe it was a subconscious thing since they both knew rebuilding his relationship was a slim chance even without her interference.
