Logan stood back, leaning against the wall and near the open face of the building as he watched the others regroup; Erik and Raven freeing Peter and helping him along, and Ororo making up her tentative mind about approaching the building. As soon as he’d seen those storm clouds... he was already planning to vouch wholeheartedly. Even though she’d come in as Apocalypse’s crew, he knew better -- and Charles knew better. Logan had already said so, back on the plane all those years ago.

The wad of metal that Apocalypse had been encased in was empty, blown apart by Jean. Logan kept a close eye on her, too... feeling more in his element than he had in years, all eyes all over the X-Men. The difference here was the inaction on his part when Erik glided into their shelter too, and the silent reminder to himself that his bones were not metal.

                       It had started like a prickle along his skin, as it always did when his sense was telling him something. He knew the feeling all too well after so many years, but it was never something that he expected to feel. Running into anyone who might fall within his radar was not something that happened everyday and, for a long time, had not happened at all. Now, it was and it drew blue eyes up with a sharp alertness from where he had been focused on his phone for the moment. A single moment later and he found his eyes meeting that of a stranger, knowing it had come from him.

                         “Seems like my plans for the day are probably going to be changing.”
