*more rustling of papers*
*quiet mumbling, a gasp, a quiet* no, no no no. *hyperventilating, a breath then....* I- Lu- There --- Another....I can’t Wolf. I can’t.
*rustling of the mic moving*
“Uh, this is Wolfgang Jamison announcing another resident of Icaria has gone missing. Luna Espinosa was reported missing as of this morning. Her brother arrived at her house last night and did not find her when they were supposed to meet up. Her shop, Lunar Eclipse, failed to open this morning as well further confirming she had been taken. Any information regarding Miss Espinosa should be reported to the authorities.”
“Good afternoon Icaria, we have some breaking news on the missing person’s cases happening around the island and the world. For the first time in five years we believe we’ve actually caught someone’s last moments before they were taken. We are just waiting on Chief Frisk to give us more inf- Apparently he is ready, please cut – CUT TO CHIEF FRISK “Good afternoon everyone, as much as I hate having to tell you someone else has been taken, we have a slight change this time. CCTV cameras had been installed on most major streets, but we had not yet gotten permission to film within the buildings. We did not tell anyone we were installing these cameras around the isle in hopes that we would be able to catch the kidnapper in action. While I can’t say we caught the person doing this, we did capture Noah Sutton’s vanishing from our cameras view and not being caught on another camera afterword. In the following footage you will see four men, one of which is Mr. Sutton. He is following behind the other men, and between one camera and another he disappears. We have checked every inch of the grounds around this spot and Mr. Sutton’s normal spots. We haven’t found any other clues. But we are hopeful. The Icaria Police department has also questioned each of the three other men seen on the CCTV footage for any clues.
CUT TO FOOTAGE:
Black and white. Sunset. Near top of camera is the sign for “Wish You Were Beer”
Bottom right. Three figures enter screen talking and laughing. They appear bundled up as snow falls on them. They get about half way into frame before a fourth figure, Noah, also bundled up, following.
CUT to another angle.
The men are walking across the screen from right to left near the entrance of “Wish You Were Beer.” One looks towards the wall of windows and points. The other two follow his gaze.
Noah appears behind them once again. The man on the far left starts to step towards the place but the man closest holds up his hand, shakes his head and throws a thumb towards the building, followed by two fingers. A nod from the others and he dips into the building. The others keep on walking. Noah follows the man into “Wish You Were Beer”.
CUT to another angle.
This time the camera is on the other side of “Wish You Were Beer”. The two men round the corner still talking. They’re almost off frame when the third man, who had gone inside, reappears, two bottles in hand and calls out quickly running to catch up to them.
The screen breaks into the four camera angles on “Wish You Were Beer” and starts to fast forward showing people coming in and out until the sun goes down and the building locks up.
CUT TO CHIEF FRISK
“As you can see Mr. Sutton went into Wish You Were Beer and never reemerged. As far as we know he didn’t go out of a back entrance or slip past the cameras. We have talked to the owner Mr. Beckett and his staff and all say they never saw him. If you were at Wish You Were Beer on December 8th between the hours of 4pm and 9pm and think you saw Mr. Sutton please give us a call at 555-555-5555.”
“Yanno, I was pretty ready to give up the radio last week -- and now... now I’m even more done. We had a nice peaceful week -- only to have another fucking person go missing. I thought we were on this isle to be protected, yet it seems way way worse being here than not. Why are we still here if this is whats happening to us? Can anyone tell me the answer to that? a deep sigh
In actual news, Mara Morales was seen leaving Supernova last night and never returning home. The cops have looked around the isle and have yet to find any sign of her. If you have any tips or ideas of where she might be please call the missing person hotline.”

“We interrupt the regularly scheduled program to bring you this important message....
“Anya Venturi has been added to our Missing Persons List. She was to meet up with Bernadette Nowak and after not appearing, nor answering any phonecalls for two hours Ms.Nowak put in a call to the Missing Persons Hotline. After sending police to her home and place of work they have declared her missing. If you are out please keep your eyes peeled for any sign of Anya Vent--”
The sound of a door slamming open and hitting a wall can be heard. Along with mumbling that’s impossible to make out from the interrupting party. “ What?Another?! Who? ”
More mumbling and then the sound of the microphone being touched and covered.A moment passes. “I was just informed of another isle residents’ disappearance. Lachlan O'Leary was reported missing thirty minutes ago, the police just concluded their initial sweep of the isle for him as well. His boyfriend, Wolfgang Jamison, saw him leave the house at 8:30 am and stopped by Khione’s Kones during his lunch break to discover the store was never opened for the day.
I repeat, the police are now declaring Lachlan O'Leary and Anya Venturi as missing persons.

“Good evening everyone, I am Cheif Frisk with the Icaria police department. Thank you for being with us this evening. As everyone knows there has been a series of disappearances over the past five years but the numbers have shot up and begun to happen more often since June of this year, just after the minotaur attack. The Icaria police department has been working around the clock to try and discover how these kidnappings are happening and where our friends and family have vanished to.
Please keep in mind we have a Missing Person’s call center if you have any information that could lead to us discovering the whereabouts of any of these missing people. This is as much of a news report as it is a briefing on the latest kidnapping, your questions will be taken now.”
Chief Frisk, is it true that another resident of Icaria Isle has disappeared?
Yes, unfortunately, it’s true. Last evening we were called to the residence of Wesley Sullivan by his girlfriend Raye Torres. She reported the disappearance after returning home to find the living room wrecked and his phone left.
Is there any information about his disappearance at this time?
Unfortunately, there isn’t much. Although, like the kidnappings of Briar Kingston and Atticus Anastas, the scene of the crime does give us more to go off of. It appears as if Mr. Sullivan put up quite the struggle before being taken. Hopefully as we continue to comb through evidence we will find something left behind.
Have you been able to figure out any connections between those taken?
Nothing in particular seems to jump out to link them all together. We live on a very small island and pride ourselves on knowing everyone else. At first it almost seemed as if it was a “one of each” god’s child. But that has been tossed out with the taking of Delilah Sun, the second child of Hades to be taken after Levi Ryder.
Is there anything that you can say to the citizens of the isle who are becoming more restless, angry, and concerned? It’s been months of this and the police department has no answers.
We understand your anger, sadness and concern. These people are our friends and family as well. I can assure you we are doing everything we can to find the missing citizens. Whoever is doing this is well organized and trained which leaves us with very little to go off of and no real leads. But, please come forward if you’ve seen anything that seems even slightly odd or makes you question. It doesn’t matter how small you might think that is.
