I liked the intro/first verse of the mashup, and also where Lost? changes the first time she says "born to die," but all in all I am not as impressed as I was hoping to be! The songs interact in a way that makes them feel tonally shallow, or stretched out, or something and somehow they end up sounding pretty bland throughout the majority of the song. It also seems slightly off somehow through the middle? Like, Born to Die isn't hitting quite where it should. It was interesting to listen to!

Ahhh, you’ve summed it up perfectly! Bland is exactly the word for it. It starts interesting but it doesn't change. Not that songs necessarily need to change, but nothing really happens.
