July the 25th.  Out on the way to Fjaderhomarna, there is this aggressively beautiful sculpture that I don’t know the name of.  It is of a nude figure, scooping handfuls of black, sharp stars from the sky, balancing precariously on a long black half-arc, extending from the harbour.  At the arc’s base, another nude, this one winged, gazes adoringly and aspirationally up at the other.  It was deeply homoerotic and I loved it.  At night, it was illuminated, and the arc was completed by a torrent of water.

So you know that old greek myth with that guy and his son that built the wings but his son was being a dumb ass and fell in the ocean. Did it ever say he actually died cause he could have been totally fine and been like "YO DAD HEY IM STILL ALIVE" but his dad couldn't hear him. What if he had to swim back to the fucking island and build some more wings and then go punch his dad or something like for real.
