Yesterday's approach killed my legs. The guidebook said 90min to get to the base of the ice fall, and it took us two hours. The last minutes were steep and we had to leave the skis and put the crampons for the last slope.

The ice fall was quite impressive. The left one was supposed to be easier (3+ or something) but the right one (4) was a real beauty and the ice seemed better. So we decided for the right one ! C led the two pitches (almost 50m each) and she did great ! I was quite impressed but I did quite good following, even though I lost one ice screw on the last meters 🤦🏻‍♀️

Went to the top, water was flowing on the ice, it was time for us to rappel down ! Going down by foot then ski just killed me and I couldn't walk anymore when we reached the parking. But I was quite proud of myself !

Ice climbing is one the greatest things I've ever done in my life i just can't wait to go back ! And I want to learn to lead as well, it feels good to find motivation for such a new and challenging sport !

When the iceberg falls off the cliff, it sinks due to momentum, but because the density of iceberg is less and the seawater is heavier, the iceberg instantly resurfaces, floats to the surface and continues to rise upward, forming a pillar! Extremely rare capture! 

Lorsque l'iceberg tombe de la falaise, il coule à cause de l'élan parce que la densité de l'iceberg est moindre et que l'eau de mer est plus lourde, l'iceberg refait surface instantanément flotte à la surface et continue de s'élever formant un pilier! Prise de vue extrêmement rare!
