Thor was panting, hands covered in blood, euphoric. He’d never imagined… the guilt was too slow, too late to come up, too weak to overcome the thrill of power that was taking someone’s life in his hands and crushing it, watching the light die in their eyes.
He breathed deep and looked up at Loki, torn between the guilt he knew he should be feeling and the unmitigated joy he was.
