Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, spices, and salt should all be mixed together in a saucepan. Stir the mixture all the time while heating it over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved and it starts to steam but doesn't boil. Leave it alone until it's cool enough to touch. Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the machine's instructions until it's the consistency of soft serve. Move the churned ice cream to a container that can go in the freezer. Cover it and freeze it until it's firm, which should take about 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
