Ice committed another murder in the streets of Minneapolis. There's video; watching is optional. More than a hundred protesters and observers have gathered near E. 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue. I called it a murder. It's also being called an execution and a lynching. I haven't seen anything about who the victim is; one account says it's an observer/activist rather than someone they were attacking for being BIPOC. ICE is trying to justify it by claiming the dead man had a gun; that in itself is not necessarily illegal, nor is there any reason why anyone should believe anything ICE says at this point, but right-wing media will.
The police chief refused to leave the scene and is making sure evidence is preserved, perhaps motivated by how ICE destroyed evidence in the crime scene after murdering Renee Good. One report says that ICE arrested/kidnapped witnesses and transported them to the Whipple Building, where they hold people.
AP reports: "After the shooting, an angry crowd gathered and screamed profanities at federal officers, calling them “cowards” and telling them to go home. One officer responded mockingly as he walked away, telling them: “Boo hoo.” Agents elsewhere shoved a yelling protester into a car. The intersection where the shooting has been blocked off, and Border Patrol agents are on the scene wielding batons."

"I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now."
In other news, a FBI agent who tried to investigate the shooting of Renee Good resigned because her superiors wanted to investigate Good as the criminal in question, not the victim.
