"Sure, I'm looking forward to meeting Mr. Sullivan." Rae replied enthusiastically as she walked beside Zain, easily matching her pace with his. "I'm from Philip. Where are you from Mr. Zain?" She paused before adding, "If you don't mind me asking." As Rae turned to look at him, she couldn't help that despite his speed, he was still very much refined in the way he walked. With her eyes still on him, she made a mental note that if she got the job, he would be the one she'd strive to be like.
"I grew up in Nobel Michel," Zain answered simply as they continued their walk. "What made you want to be a librarian, Miss. Rae? It’s not the most luxurious of jobs." Zain was quite satisfied with what he was seeing. Not only was she quick, she was graceful as well. Her answers were polite and to the point.
As they turned into a busier hallway, Zain wondered how she would react. Would she attempt to force her way through?
