      The first thing she notices is how she nearly slips in the hallway on her way inside. It isn’t unusual for this place to be cold, albeit not inside the buildings, and she already has half a mind to let Frank the janitor check on the heating system, when she finds the real source of the icy atmosphere. That one is new. That one is new and too old to be a student, and there are snowflakes inside the hallway. “Excuse me,” she calls, approaching carefully, partially due to the slippery floor. She often scolded the girls for ‘letting the cold in’ when they didn’t close the doors properly. This time someone has taken this quite literally. “I don’t think we have met. Can I help you?”
