Oosh, me and my sister aren't in talking terms. She's too upset about Daniel's death and says I don't care when I actually do. Daniel was a huge inspiration to her and even now she's still in tears. I try to comfort her but she won't let me....
She will just need time. Grief can be really hard for some people to deal with. I would just make it clear you do care, and you want to be there for her. She will come eventually.
