He would do anything for his brother.
Getting the opportunity to be released from the hospital for a day, that’s what he hoped for, but to have him released on Tenya’s birthday… that’s something he strived for. Prior to getting to see Tenya after his classes were done, he had many tests run on him, ensuring nothing bad would happen if he was off of all the needles and IVs attached to him. He’s on certain prescribed medication currently, but thankfully he could last until the evening before he would have to come back.
“Mom would have come too but she had to take care of the agency. She told me that she called you earlier to at least say happy birthday. Phone calls aren’t enough for me though,” he jokes, embracing his brother tightly. He hadn’t had the chance to do that in a while.
“So then if you got people you want me to meet, that means you’re getting along with everyone?” Tensei lets the other push him along, letting his arms rest on his lap as he glances up. A good break from pushing the wheels since coming into Yuuei. “How’s the dorm life? You getting used to it?”
“Mom called first thing of course, although as usual she wished to try to do even more than that, it was simply nice to hear from her, given how busy things have been” Indeed, his mother was also a hero in his eyes although he had been closer to his brother other the years his mother was always their for them.
When asked about his classmates, Iida his a bit of embarrassment, he indeed was getting along with his class, along with a few others however still in his overly judgmental view of himself he felt he was not as close to them as everyone whom adored and trusted Tensei.
“My classmates, each one is on the path to become a great hero and I was honored to be given a duty to do my best for all of them. Things may have been hectic but everyone looks out for each other” he described, he did not want to misrepresent the bond he had with his classmates, they were all a class unlike his brother he was not someone whom brought people together...
“The dorms themselves are wonderfully made, as expected of Yuuei. Living on campus has actually been quite productive, however...adjusting to living with other people my age has been...”
“...Interesting to say the least” that was a fitting word right?
