oh god i didn’t even realize the sacrifice for Fen’harel happened on Mythal’s altar, makes sense tho since they mention Saarebas was going to do the Ritual in the Sundermount, but still, not the most obvious (the wiki says the productors said it was meant to be the altar tho and it looked different because of some miscommunications between the game team and the show team)
Anyway so
then Tallis stopped the Ritual.
The Wiki says “Saarebas talked as if Fen’Harel could listen to him” and well ye he addressed to him but any rituals would do so.
But. Between the tears in the veil and it’s place of the timeline do you think it’s the moment that Woke Fen’Harel up? I mean it would make sense. (also it still feels like Redemption is more a Sequel to Mark of the Assassin than a Prequel so ye still would place it during Act 3 of da2)
I’ve also been poundering it bc of this
At first, when i first played, i thought the “appointment she needed to keep” was the one with the Warden knowing Morrigan would send them after her. But that’s also what the second sentence would imply as well.
But if “the appointment she needed to keep” was with “an old friend”..... especially knowing how much she knows in general and the fact this damn thing still happened on Mythal’s altar.... Hell even the fact the Fen’Harel ritual happened on the Mythal’s altar....
It’s been rubbing me off ever since i’ve read the wiki page for Redemption originally but turns out watching the show doesn’t make it any more clearer. So i’m just throwing my shot out there
