Five Songs On Repeat
Tagged by @crimsonphantasmagoria who gives me interesting reclist anytime. so we're doing no context? no context we go.
tagging @lavenderstarburst, @crimsonshadesblog, and @aranarumei!
i love the band starset but i only ever listened to the first album and a few stray songs here and there, and bc they released a new song i'm going back to listen everything to see if i can add to my playlists.
also bc ngl my shadowbringer brained brain just melted down seeing those titles:
so i'm relistening everything in chronological order, back relistening to the first album and. and.
and i think i'm desperately locked in my g'raha x sao mood because something terrible is happening to my sao playlist
Tagged by @crimsonphantasmagoria to list 5 of my favorite/most important albums. Thanks for the tag!
Atlas: Enneagram by Sleeping at Last
Sleeping at Last in general really talks to me deeply but this album genuinely did a number on me and touched me to the depth of my soul. It's one i always return to.
Recommanded Songs: Eight, One
2. The Heart of Everything by Within Temptation
Within Temptation is my most influencial artist ever and it directly shapped a lot of my tastes when i was a wee kid. It's a bit between The Silent Force and The Heart of Everything but those two albums really shapped me as a kid.
Recommanded Songs: Our Solemn Hour, The Truth Beneath the Rose
3. Transmission by Starset
Starset is one of my favorite band and this album in particular is a no skip album for me. It has such a specific vibe that i get so into in general. Vessels is also an album that's close behind, but i've known it for a year while i've been looping Transmission for over a decade.
Recommanded Songs: Halo, The Point of No Return
4. The End of The Beginning by Les Friction
did i mention i love apocalyptic music. I love apocalyptic music. vibrates like crazy.
Recommanded Songs: Fade to Black, the End of the Beginning
5. 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day
Now this one is especially in the "most important" album section because there's few albums where i can vividly think back about a specific time of my life. It's the album that fprmed my 13th years in general.
Recommanded Songs: Peacemaker, Restless Heart Syndrome
fiew that was an exercise. Also probably very expected of me.
tagging, if you feel like it, @aranarumei, @mariyekos, @lavenderstarburst
wishing you all well <3
Euclid by Sleep Token as a G'raha @ Sao song during Shadowbringer oh kill me
my birthday is the only occasion i can decide the music that plays at family gathering, and i have a special, filtered playlist, where i mostly have upbeat songs or soft songs that I *believe* wouldn't be too hard on my family, and a few rock songs that shouldn't be too hard on people who listened to AC/DC in their youth, and mostly i have to sum it up on "it has no Japanese songs and it has no metal in it" as the best way to describe it,
and last time my mom still managed to be like "are you sure you don't have metal in your playlist" over a rock song that could probably be played in a same playlist as Imagine Dragons without blinking
even when i filter my music taste i still get "oh is that metal" you wouldn't STAND the metal i listen to, what are you talking about. I thought you liked rock.
doing okay these days 👍
@sandetigerrr tagged me to shuffle my on repeat playlist and post the first 10 song
and i rarely do tagged games but when it comes to music i will because i'm going to make it everyone's problem
and should mention i've only been looping my Solas' playlist lately so I guess that's a warning that comes with it
I'm Your Man - Mitski
Amber - Koethe
Heaven or Hell - Digital Daggers
Mr Magic - Reliqa
Sorry - Nothing but Thieves
Breath of a Life - Florence + The Machine
Falling Slowly - Glen Hansad, Markéta Irglovà
Forsaken - Within Temptation
The Truth Beneath the Rose - Within Temptation
Your World Will Fail - Les Friction
and yeah that sounds like me alright.
tagging huh. now that's always the hard part.
