If Gokuraku was constantly being a menace and disrupting the trials of the Mantinel Witches Association before the situation with Bakugami was resolved, how come Monegold never put Desscaras and Togeice on duty of jumping him until he’s either subdued or dead? I mean, a relative newcomer in the form of Ichi could non-lethally fend him off while being mentally distracted by his “death for death” instincts kicking in, so I don’t see why sending two super-prodigies after him wouldn’t have fixed the problem.

Would the sorrow of a single person even be enough for Bakugami to buy ANY amount of time for his trial? The trial started out with ten years worth of the WHOLE COUNTRY’S SORROW and is shown to be diminishing rapidly even with all the people it entails. Even with a day of thousands of people’s sorrow, it won’t give more than 1/730th of an orb’s power back, so how much could one person really give to the unbelievably massive reservoir of tears that was the beginning seed?

He's pretty much desperate at this point and trying to find an out. lol.
