okay, where do i even start here??? not only is this person AMAZINGLY talented (managing to run about literally 50 blogs, all with really in depth, complex characters), she is one of the nicest people i’ve ever encountered on this site! she’s been there for me throughout all my ups and downs, is there for every rant i need to make and still puts up with my trash asf writing when i’m a literal SNAIL. her writing is so so beautiful and has the most amazing tone to it, and her characters ???  like wow ???  if you haven’t checked out any of her blogs you 100% need to because they are literally pure quality.

i literally don’t know what i would do without this person. i practically talk to her 24/7, and she is a wonderful person to engage with ic and ooc. it’s evident how much she cares about lydia, and her portrayal of her is nothing less than incredible. her writing has such a gorgeous voice to it, something that i think really reflects lydia ??? and she’s been so lovely and supportive of me, even when i take massive breaks / vanishes for days on end. honestly, she’s just a lovely, lovely mun + has such a well thought out blog. 10/10 would recommend!

honestly, finding her again has been so lovely! we chatted and wrote on discord a long time ago, but somehow we found each other on tumblr and i’m so glad we did. it’s been so nice starting things back up with her again and having random chats here and there, and i’m so so excited to see where our thread and interactions would go! and it’s so nice to see such a well thought out original character, as tbh i don’t see many original characters on my dash, and i know creating them is such a difficult process! again, such a wonderful person and i would definitely recommend that you check them out if you haven’t already!

sweet pea once got into it pretty bad with a guy while defending brooke’s honour. he’d overheard the guy running his mouth about the lakewood six and had stepped in when he’d dragged brooke’s name into it. “stepped in” being an understatement, because he’d nearly rearranged the guy’s face. when word had got back to brooke about the whole thing, she’d demanded to know why sweet pea had done it — his answer had been a simple, “ because no one gets to talk about you that way. ” no one said shit about brooke where pea could hear them again.

      for some reason i’ve always pictured sweet pea to have siblings. i can see him living with his dad, his dad’s girlfriend and maybe a couple of kids from their relationship, but for some reason, i really can’t picture his mum being there. maybe she left his dad when he was a kid, or maybe she died. idk. but i definitely see him having younger step-siblings that he has to look after a lot. like his dad is probably off either getting drunk or doing whatever odd jobs he can pick up ( like random manual labour / diy based stuff ), and his step-mum/dad’s girlfriend is probably in and out, doing random shit or going out with her friends a lot, which leaves sweet pea to look after his family quite a bit?

        i know in the show he’s usually out and out with people, but tbh i feel like that’s only a snippet of his time. i feel like most of his days are spent either going to school, working, or being at home, making shitty frozen food concoctions and helping his younger siblings with their homework or whatever?? like he still gets the chance to go out with his friends, and most of the time he’s probably drinking or doing something dumb, mostly to blow off steam like any person would at his age??? but for the most part, he’s just trying to keep his family together and look after everyone???

      a scoff is given from across the room at her words  and, laughing, he simply says:  “you really think i care about what you look like in your underwear?”  hoping that if he sounded dis-interested enough, she’d forget the fact that he actually did something nice for her for once.  “but no, brooke. i’m actually capable of undressing and dressing a girl without needing to gawp at their underwear first. who do you take me for?” 

       shaking his head, he stands up from the chair he’d crashed on for the night and puts his jacket back on, getting ready to leave since he didn’t think she’d want him to stay longer than necessary.  “don’t forget you owe me that burger.” he tells her, cocky smile growing on his face as he remembers the night previous and the dumb bets they made ;  the main one revolving around many rounds of beer pong, and many failed attempts from brooke as she tried to beat him.  “so you better sober up soon, because i’m dragging you back out at lunch time.”  // @ichornic

he should know by now that there was no point getting riled up by comments like these when they came from her. but will that stop him from acting stupid? no. in fact, he’s going to sulk like a baby; shoulders will tighten, he’ll actually shut up for once, and he’ll turn his head away from her, not wanting to pay her any attention whatsoever. 

        “if you really want to lower your standards, then by all means.” he grumbles, folding his arms over his chest as he looks at the guy she was pointing out  ----  a fucking northsider. but whatever. what’s he supposed to do? he can’t stop her from dating other people without telling her that he wants to be the only guy she’s seeing, and since he’s stubborn and too “proud” to want to admit that he wants her to be his girlfriend, he’ll just have to suck it up.  // @ichornic

5. their neck

despite the fact that she literally never shuts up about how “ugly” his tattoo is, her lips have somehow found their way back to its spot on his neck, almost as if she actually enjoyed it. sure, he realises that she’s probably just doing this in an attempt to cover up the ink with her lipstick, but sweet pea still finds the sentiment sweet and finds himself smirking as he wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her onto his lap, head tilted up towards hers.

            “i’d be careful if i were you.” he teases as his fingers lightly trail themselves up and down the side of her body, always lingering a little longer whenever they reach the waistband of her skirt. “it almost looks like you’re begging me for my attention, even though you’re constantly telling me how you’re not interested in me.”
