I always think “allistic” means “of garlic” because it has the Latin name allium (or in French, ail)
Which reminds me of a great store name I saw in Montreal: “Ail Y’ail Y’ail.”
A pun on “ay yi yi” but means “garlic, there is garlic, there is garlic” as y here is idiomatic shorthand for il y a de le/la (there is some (x) here)
