I love the dynamic between Penelope and Icklies(there are like, 500 variations of how to spell his name someone pls tell me which one’s the official). It’s just the perfect blend of sweet love and tragedy. Icklies is a slave who fell in love with his master, which is a whole thing. But Penelope chose Icklies out of all the MLs because in her hypothetical future, Icklies is the only one who was kind of sad when she died. And honestly? That’s a whole new level of fucked up sadness I’m not crying.

But at the same time, even though Icklies has always been the reasonably choice, I never really shipped them. Because it’s always been obvious that Penelope’s just using Icklies, so you kinda feel bad for him. But at the same time Icklies would probably kill Penelope with zero hesitation if she so much as breathes the wrong way which is why I still understand Penelope.
