Gala Brightblade (Reimaged Fighter)

I was looking at Valerous, and thought.. 2-weapon fighters don't work too well. I figure that a 2-hander would be better for a Gnome. Gala is a city girl who has family all over the Inner Sea. (Friend in Every Town: Diplomacy). She is a gnome with a taste for 'bizarre weapons' such as her switchcythe and Hungamunga.

2nd Level: Furious Focus, to take a bit of the bite out of power attacking.3rd Level: Dodge, because she needs all the AC she can get given no access to a shield. 4th Level: Gnome Weapon Focus because she's focused on gnomish weapons and a weapon focus that applies to multiple weapons is cool. 5th Level: Weapon Focus (Switchscythe) to make her key weapon. 6th Level: Weapon Specialist (Switchscythe) to add more bite, with Weapon Focus/Specialist plus Gnomish Weapon Focus. Add in Power Attack and overhand chop for some really nasty hits. 7th Level: Vast Hatred (Evil Outsiders, Undead) to give a bit of psuedo-ranger hate.

Lelm Silverblade (Reimaged Iconic Bard)

Lelm is a 3rd generation half-orc born and raised in Sedeq, to a pair of half-orcs who are involved widely in the city's spice trade. He's gone off on his own on a whim, wandering around the Inner Sea for several years as the 'lead agent' for his family's spice cartel. Over time, he stumbled into several events led him into joining the Pathfinder Society where his glib tongue and confident manner let him assist his fellow pathfinders into and out of trouble.

This works like bardic performance, except that the Dawnflower dervish’s performances grant double their normal bonuses, but th Battle Dance: Inspire Courage +2 (Su) Morale bonus on some saving throws, attack and damage rolls. Dervish Dance Use Dex modifier instead of Str modifier with scimitar Flame of the Dawnflower +2 damage with a scimitar on a critical hit. 2nd Level: Versatile Performance (Dance) opens up Acrobatics (and Flying later on) as skills that you don't have to spend points on later on. 3rd Level: Lingering Performance, to stretch out his performance rounds a day. 4th Level: A few spells, a few skills. Tailor it to your liking. Spells like Cat's Grace or Mirror Image. 5th Level:  Arcane Strike, or Extra Performance, depending on the way you wish to use the role. 6th Level: Versatile Performance 2 (Choose according to your performance choices), Masterpiece (Dance of 23 Steps) substituting for a 2nd level spell. 7th Level: Masterpieces: Triple Time (substituting for a 1st level spell), Life Budding in Salted Earth (3rd level spell). This gives another option for buffing movement AND access to Fast Healing. @ 19 rounds of use a day, that can make for a variety of methods to help out the PC and/or the party.  Feats: Add in Combat Expertise or Dodge to give the PC even MORE options for upping ac or Extra Performance for more rounds of buffing performances. (Fun note: Dance of 23 steps stacks with Combat Expertise, AND fighting defensively.)

Meet Hallen Mason, my first reimaged Iconic

Explanation: I've heard that several of the iconics were ..well to use the Queen's English is the raw form, bloody useless. Most often cited is Harsk, the dwarven ranger, due to his focus on the heavy crossbow rather than the quicker light crossbow. So, rather than tweak him with a simple change to light crossbow, I reimaged into a human. So instead of Harsk the dwarf, we got Hallen Mason the human. A few tweaks to make him over into Taldan Phalanx vet rather than a Dwarven Scout. A novice scout for his unit, he was one of the initial 'token' units sent to Mendev, and after the siege of the Diamond city..it's sole survivor. Returning to Taldor, he found nothing but disinterest and apathy at the situation at hand, the Bearded 'poo-poo'ing the threat he knew to be very real. Cashiered as the sole survivor of his unit, he turned to the one group of people who seemed to give a damn. The Pathfinders, one of whom had offered him a field commission for his quick witted reactions in the siege.

Special Abilities

Plans for Advancement:

2nd Level: Right off, give him Rapid Reload (Light Crossbow) as his Combat Style choice (Like Harsk, going with Crossbow as my style). 3rd Level: As a former Phalanx member, Hallen is an experienced skirmisher in city locations. (IE.. Favored Terrain: Urban), and threw in Exotic Weapon Prof (Heavy Repeating Crossbow). This would be around the range where he could afford a good one anyway. 4th Level: Right off, since I'm building more of a 'sturdy ex-soldier' than an optimized PC, his +1 goes to Con rather than Dex or Strength. As for what to choose, his wisdom makes the Hunter's Bond choice an Animal Companion rather than companions, though he could (with a wisdom enhancement bonus) do the Companions bond instead. A good wolf companion suits him though. As for spell choice, you got lots. Though given his approach as the 'sniper' of the group, I'd suggest a few: Abundant Ammunition (turn one cold iron bolt into LOTS), Deadeye's Arrow (as a follower of Deadeye and a scout, it makes an AWESOME signal flare), Gravity Bow (a step up on a Heavy Repeating Crossbow's damage will get him noticed..and it will DEFINITELY hurt). 5th Level: By now a great veteran of the Season 5 scenarios, Hallen would increase his Favored Enemy (Evil Outsiders) to +4, and adds Favored Enemy (Undead). Keeping in line with the 'not optimized' for combat train of thought, he takes Iron Will to put up his Will Saves (as a marital types one of his mortal weaknesses), other good choices include: Boon Companion (to buff up his wolf AC), Skill Focus (Perception) or Alertness.6th Level: Right off the bat, you got three choices for the combat style feat: Crossbow Mastery, Deadly Aim and Improved Precise shot. You can get DA next level, which brings it to either Crossbow Mastery or Improved Precise shot. I went with Improved Precise Shot, since it fits with the 'sniper' concept and I'm not sure that Crossbow Mastery's best perks work well with the 'magazine' of his Heavy Repeating Crossbow anyway. By now he's a fairly good stealth/survival/perception guy with Handle Animal to do things with the animal kingdom but mostly he's there to protect the more diverse skill monkeys and do the support guy role with a good movement, access to spells for wands of CLW and such as well as 'back up' melee due to his good HP (I alternate between HP and SP for favored class) so he's sitting @ 61 hp for a 6th level ranger) 7th Level: The end of the line (for PFS Iconics), Hallen sits @ 70 HP and a DECENT base save spread (+8/8/5) thanks to Iron Will. He has a few 'skills of note' such as Handle Animal, Know (nature), Perception, Stealth, Survival and such. A few points in a few others: Acrobatics (for defensive fighting), Climb and such. Adding in Deadly Aim to make his crossbow shots just that more deadly, and you got a fairly flexible Iconic who can step in to melee in a crunch and such.
