Xander pauses for a moment, a little surprised by the sudden show of affection, but it only took him a moment to register that he needed to hug back, so he did so tightly. “Hello, dear. Can I help you with something?”

Xander: His family didn’t have pets since they wouldn’t have taken care of it properly anyway. He doesnt have a pet as an adult either, though. He likes animals but to answer 9, animals don’t really like him. They can smell what he is and they are scared of him, usuallly.

Tamtun: Tam is literally from Hell so he didnt have much opportunity to have pets. Maybe a hellhound but they don’t have masters, they don’t obey anyone and aren’t all that friendly. there aren’t any pets in the household though so he doesnt have any pets currently. He loves animals though. To answer 9, animals tend to like him and he lets them lay on him but he doesn’t like to encourage them to do so or pet them too much.
