That'll be Captain Cousin Curtiss today folks! Hahahaha just kidding. Great back to back shows in Hoonah! I hope I'm able to continue coming back to Alaska and play shows in new and old places. After a trip like this I'm reminded just how amazing people can be. The only reason I was able to travel to Hoonah was because of dear friends, Rick and Sandra. On the way there we experienced a bit of engine trouble and some choppy waves but overall the trip was incredible. For the five hour trip each way we were surrounded by blue skies, sea lions, humpback whales, otters, eagles, and porpoise. Passing the time while cruising through Icy Strait was easily accomplished. Rick is a wealth of knowledge in all genres of music classic and modern and Sandra is one of the most optimistic and bubbly story tellers I know.
