Trying to really sit with this today. Everyone has different fears and we all forget that failure is part of triumph. So why is it so scary to fall and fail If it is a natural part of growth?
As a creative I see a reflection of who I am in my work. It is me and I am it. And if I fail at what I do, I fail in my most vulnerable and absolute intimate way. I fail from the heart. Then what do I have left if I have given my heart away and it has been rejected?
This idea got me thinking in every place that we confront fear. For me it’s in every place of vulnerability. Where love and fear say hello to each other.
To be vulnerable is to share your heart sometimes without even knowing why. Or to share you’re heart even if it’s all you have left.
What happens if we succumb to the voice that tells us we might fail and hold back at the opportunity to share ourselves wholeheartedly?
Just imagine, a world without joy and everything that is born from love. Everything that is born from our hearts being seen.
This is why it is important.
Be vulnerable even you’re afraid.
