Welcome to KBS Showtime Showcase: Chile! This is the latest in a series of KBS The Showtime showcases that have taken place in various destinations as a chance for idols to show their live skills to a broader audience. It’s the first time the outfit will be venturing far afield, however, with other similar concerts sticking close to home on the Asian continent. It’s a big move for Showtime and they need to make sure it pays off, so be prepared to bring your A game! The full setlist can be found below the cut - we know it’s a pretty unbelievably long set up but we’re asking for some suspension of disbelief here, since we make sure all our active artists can attend, regardless of if they’re currently promoting / have promoted a song in 2019, and so on, so that everyone can be “present” for the event. You’ll notice that there are open slots available for special performances - these may be claimed via the form found below the cut.
BASICS
In character, the event takes place on April 20th. Groups may begin arriving as early as the evening of the 14th.
Out of character, the event will last from April 15th to May 15th. Threads should be completed by that point in order to be redeemed for points and should not be started after that date.
There is no formally sanctioned party component, but feel free to casually pretend most groups ended up staying in the same one or two hotels and predictably letting off steam thereafter.
For trainees, either assume you bought a ticket to head out to see them and support or if there are relevant back dancers in the stage for one of your company’s artists, you can assume you participated.
Soloists who have released a promoted song within 2018 or 2019 have been given a solo performance and Pro.Logue will be performing as well.
There are a total of 7 open spots for special stages and we’d love to see some people come together for those!
Special stage submissions will be considered on largely a first come first serve basis with the usual understanding that scandals, believability, seniority, company power, and skill sets are taken into account. You may have only one muse claim into a special stage at any given time.
The tag for the even is “id.showcase chile” so please tag accordingly! It doesn’t matter whether it’s at the venue itself or at one of the small unofficial hotel after parties.
POINTS
As is customary, there will be 5 points EXP and 5 points SP for each completed 3/3 thread.
Additionally, completed 3/3 thread done with someone with whom you have not had a prior interaction in character may be awarded an additional 2 points.
As usual, points are only redeemable for your first thread with any muse, though you’re welcome to thread multiple times with one another over the event’s course, as your plots and progression necessitate!

Hello Idols! We are here today to be unspeakably, impossibly, immensely thankful to each and every one of the muses that has come through our community over the past year. We are so immeasurably grateful to each and every one of you hardworking and wonderful muns and are so, so happy to have been sharing this community with you for so long. Truthfully, we never had half a dream that we’d last for this long or have as much sustained activity and interest as we’ve had. You’ve all been so patient with us as we’ve worked out various issues and changed up groups and adjusted this and that over the year, and you’ve been kind and understanding when we’ve needed to step back or restructure. We’ve learned so much from all of you over the year, we’ve fixed mistakes and learned how to hopefully optimize the structure of the roleplay to suit our community, and we’re so proud of what we’ve all made together here! Thank you for being patient throughout changes, for reading thousands (literally) of words of content, for writing with us and for bringing Idolize to life!
