ok so i had to come share this thought with you. boyfriend!ash and a morning hot chocolate or coffee. you’re in a oversized sweatshirt of his and there’s music playing softly in the background and the two of you just slowly sway together, watching each other while enjoying your drinks :)
PLEASE?!?!?!? I read this when I woke up this morning and I just had an Ashton dream, I can’t quite remember what it was about but Ashton was involved so it had to be good. But okay, so, maybe you wake up because the smell of fresh-made coffee greets your nostrils? Or because the first rays of sunshine softly hit your face, making Ashton’s hair shine in the yellow light. Maybe you’re already up, making your man some breakfast because he had a rough day yesterday. The fragrance of freshly baked croissants fill your apartment when you open the oven door, two hands creep up on your lower back, they softly caress your tummy when you stand up straight again after placing the baked goods on the kitchen counter. “Good morning,” his voice is still full of sleep when he whispers sweet nothings in your ear, words about last night making you blush. One hand leaves your body, only to return quickly when Ashton turned the stereo on with his phone, the deep voice of Frank Sinatra filling the room. You continue getting the breakfast ready, all the while softly swaying to the music, Ashton singing the lyrics in your ears. “Regrets, I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do. And saw it through without exemption.” The music slowly begins to swell, you close your eyes enjoying your favorite song, you stop preparing the coffee and your, now empty, hands meet Ashton’s on your tummy and he slowly turns you around, all the while singing the next lyrics, louder as the music grows louder. “But through it all when there was doubt. I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all and I stood tall. And did it my way.” A smile grows on your lips as you watch Ashton’s face, his eyes are closed as he belts out the lyrics. “I've loved, I've laughed, and cried.” His eyes open again and he cups your face with his hands. “I've had my fill, my share of losing.” Your arms rest around his neck as the both of you start dancing around in the kitchen. The music swells again, and you join Ashton in singing the song. “The record shows I took the blows. And did it my way. Yes, it was my way. ” The song finishes and Ashton plants a kiss on your lips as the song transitions in another classic song, the breakfast long forgotten, the two of you continue to sway to the music.
