It's prettier than most. His father made it. There are stacks of various cutting boards just sitting around his parents' house. He said everyone in the family has at least one from his dad 😂 so now I'm part of the family.
Anyway, he surprised me with this gift, and I died laughing
He brought me sour patch kids. He listened to me. He held me for hours and gave me good loving (twice). He made surprise bacon. He washed the pan. He fixed my back. He made my guitar sound amazing. He came to brunch with my friend. This weekend, he gets an A.
The truth is mosta these guys are full of red flags (including ideal bedmate, who I am again taking a little more distance from even tho i do also adore and treasure him)
I've ditched three connections already basically. Remaining:
- chef guy is supposed to be platonic but has terrible boundaries, can't articulate them clearly yet, bonds hard with me on the daily, all day, and has a super jealous partner plus three kids. He also bad mouths his ex wife and is likely to make a speedy exit when i least expect. So, not a real contender for more than friendship. So fukin hot tho
- the jazz pianist meditator astro nerd who books my dream venue... Is clueless about ENM/relationships and has zero experience in it, and didn't respond about my music even after I praised his (he has since said nice things). Also wants to meet me but didn't bother answering about his availability when I said I had some. For days. Twice. My time is a hot commodity and I don't f with people who don't respect that offer as such. But he books my dream venue so friends it is.
