How does Frederick smell?

His “artificial” scent?

He definitely uses Houbigant (French brand cologne est. in 1775) because he’s fancy like that. Cologne was generally used alongside shaving to cover up body odour. Not sure how often this was a practice for men particularly but he’s bougie so we’ll just assume he did that. Lingering Tobacco scent, specifically Camel or Lucky Strike. Also, Macassar oil to keep his hair groomed.

His natural body scent?

A bit sweet, kind of milky as well, with notes of a bitter earthy tone. Take that as you will:)

I was reading your "Baking with IDV characters" post and I just wanna say I LOVE how the characters actually act like themselves!! In a lot of fics or hcs I read, a lot of characters feel rlly mischaracterized for the sake of being an X reader, so seeing things that's ACTUALLY happened to them mentioned not as a one of joke and it being a reason they acted this way while a different character reacted that way is just AAHAHSHEUEHH I LOVE IT
