TATTOO ARTIST IMPLANTS MAGNETS TO KEEP HIS IPOD IN PLACE
21-year-old Dave Hurban, tattoo artist and piercer at Dynasty Tattoo in Newfield, New Jersey, implants four magnets into his arm to hold his iPod Nano (that also works as a watch) in place without having to need a strap.
This guy is taking transdermal procedures to new heights, innovating new functions of body modification.
Dave Hubard tells us that the four magnets, also called “micro-dermal anchors” are quite common in body piercing.
“I just took the ends of magnets and actually adhered them behind the iPod—and that’s how they click into my skin.” Hubard explains. “It’s definitely not the worst piercing i’ve ever done to myself.”He adds.
Since its completion in April 2012, he reports that it’s healed well within 2 weeks and he can finally do jogs with his ipod in place. Ever since the rare procedure that took 30-gut-wrenching minutes (check out the video below!), he says his friends and even his mom are positive about it—rather amazed of this truly rare invention in the flesh.

We hope you enjoyed this unusual story. Humanity is indeed highly evolving. Let’s do it for the good.
Getting under the skin
Most of us like to be connected to the digital world, and might even break into a sweat at the thought of leaving the house without our revered gismos and gadgets. American body modification fanatic Dave Hurban has come up with a system that ensures he need never be without his favourite mp3 player, by embedding 4 microdermal anchors into his forearm. These magnetic studs allow Dave to secure small electronic devices, such as an iPod nano, to his arm without the use of any straps. Once in place, the magnets can hold the device in place even when he goes jogging! A unique idea, but not for the faint-hearted!
iDermal, not for the faint of heart.

Would you guys ever do this? Just curious.
iDermal. that's sooooo cool :D
iDermal guy - A prime example of the selfishness and stupidity of one ruining something for everyone else.
Given that the US Government seems to be trying to outlaw microdermals in general (along with other modifications). http://nathansummers.tumblr.com/post/24093386081/legislative-officials-are-trying-to-make-microdermals
