Timezone & times you’re normally online:
I’m in the East Coast time zone and can usually be found online anytime after three pm. This, of course, varies slightly depending on the level of college work I have to do as well as all the club meetings I’ll need to attend. I’m a bit of an over-achiever at times. =P
Details about your perspective of the character
Shizuo’s personality is very canon. It takes less than a spark to set him off, but when he’s not angry he’s very calm and relaxed. You can find his description on my page here.
Character’s Availability
Shizuo is currently a free agent, though I’ll be more than willing to RP any sort of relationship as long as there is chemistry. It’s also no secret that I’m a big Shizaya fan, but that doesn’t mean that I have to ship it with every Izaya I RP with. If you don’t like the pairing, I’m totally fine with it and will gladly RP the fantastic hatred they have for each other. I’m also alright with smut—but again, only if there is a relationship and some chemistry beforehand.
Things you like or love in a RP
Shizuo is quite an action-type guy. No big surprise there. However, romance is also nice to do as it provides a bit of fresh air to the RP. I love angst, blood, gore, violence, romance… Pretty much everything.
Things you don’t like or hate in a RP
Incest… Nope, nope, nope. I don’t judge those who like it, but I can’t participate in it, myself.
How do you RP?
I prefer third person RPing and I like paras. However, I may include an icon at the end of a para simply because I enjoy using them. ^_^ I’m not a big fan of one-liners.
RP Sample
Shizuo blinked once and slowly pulled his glasses off, tucking them into the collar of his suit.
”It’s not nice to threaten someone. You know that, right?” He asked. His eyes flashed in the dim light of the alley as his ears buzzed. He should have wondered why such high governmental groups were after the girl, but all rational thoughts disappeared from his head. “You could end up killing someone with a threat like that, which means I have every right to defend myself, right?” The last word came out as more of a shout and as the sound echoed throughout the alley, Shizuo spun and grabbed the nearest thing to him—which happened to be the very dumpster that the girl was hiding behind.
Lifting up the dumpster with a grunt, Shizuo tossed the heavy metal container towards the group of men and laughed as they all scattered—though only a few managed to escape without getting hit by the sudden projectile. Stepping forward, Shizuo’s fist connected with one of the lucky men who hadn’t gotten hit, sending him to the ground. Before the next man could land a punch, Shizuo was already spinning and he grabbed the man, tossing him down the alleyway to hit one of the fleeing men.
All too quickly, the alleyway was empty of the attackers and Shizuo brushed his suit off as he turned back to the girl.
”Well, we probably should get moving,” he growled as he began to walk down the alleyway towards the more busy streets of Ikebukuro, assuming the girl would follow him. He would take her to Celty. She would know what to do—she always did.
