And I'm only telling you that because you need to watch Fried Green Tomatoes! The main character's name is Idgie but it is, by and far, my favorite movie. Oh no :( Is Joey not allowed electronics past lights out? Technically, where S is training, between lights out and morning formation is their allotted "sleep" time, whereas 1800 to 2030 and 2100 to lights out is their "personal" time. Whether they sleep or not is the soldier's choice as long as they do not fall asleep in class the following day. Is there any way you can record the birth so he always has it? I'm so sorry, Krystal..

Unfortunately no, he is not allowed electronics past lights out.. His sergeants actually do room checks during the night, to make sure that no soldiers are up past lights out on them..

But I can record the birth for him, on my phone. I can make sure that that happens for him so he can still witness his daughter’s birth - if not live, than at least on a recording - as soon as possible. He expressed to me last night and this morning how much he is hoping that things somehow work out where the baby is born during his free time when he has it tonight or tomorrow as he does want to see it happen live, but in case it doesn’t - we at least do have that. Although it isn’t what we were hoping for, both of us are grateful that we can have that if things don’t work out in our favor.
