This story began in the original Undertale.

Frisk made a "Reset" many times, going through the game again and again, Sans remembered all these resets and when Frisk once again went with a hypocritical smile and pretended that nothing had happened and I was here for the first time, Sans was very annoyed and hurt, because even in front of him she wore this mask "I'm here for the first time, wow!" He asked her to be honest with him, directly told her about the "Reset" and asked her to stop, but she did not listen to him and turned on the "fool", pretending that she did not know about any "Reset" - "What reset Sans? Are you sick? What is a "Reset" in general?" Etc. that he was already exasperated, after a while, he could not stand her hypocrisy and lies and in a rush of anger pushed her, shouting that she stop lying to him, but Frisk accidentally stumbled and flew down, straight into the Core, which was not part of the skeleton's plans. He panicked and jumped after her, wanting to save her and teleport her to a safe place, but Frisk had already hit the Core. Noticing this, he wanted to teleport himself, but it was too late and he himself got into the core, just like her. After a while, Sans appeared with Frisk in different parts of the universes or the void, he regretted what had happened and searched for her for a very long time in different worlds until he found her.
