It was this idea that I always had trouble putting into words when I went on interviews and was usually stuck with answering the question “What kind of writer to you consider yourself as?”  I never thought I fit into the typical categories of writers, like the token gross guy with all the crude jokes, the really young, good-looking one with fresh, hipster ideas about coming of age stories, or even my anticipated category, the Ivy League graduate with a talent for writing witty banter.  Honestly, I had never exceeded in the witty banter department on paper or off, which is why I found myself after six weeks of living in downtown Chicago, working as a barista-in training in the coffee shop underneath my apartment.
