When you're literally a college student and learning how to properly floss for the first time. My gums hurt as I was too rough but like. I won't know how to floss without having to use a lot of strength to keep it in-between the teeth.

I use them almost exclusively for the same reason- I also cannot hold it properly.

I also have this, long plastic thing that looks like a toothbrush but it holds little pieces of floss? Anyone know what those are called?

I'm going to be honest. I very much cried when I saw we still had over a thousand days left to go. As holy hell it feels like we've gone through so much already. But it feels nice to know we're all just keeping on. We're not in this alone.

If it makes you feel better we've survived 245 days already. We can make it through 1,215 more.

I'm going to fail my stupid analytical chem class.

Maybe. But I’m gonna let you in on a secret.

I failed my Spanish 3 unit in college. And I thought that everything was ruined forever, I was convinced nothing about this situation was fixable, that my entire future and present and past for whatever reason was in ruins. I had a panic attack that clocked in at two and a half hours, and it was so bad for so long I had to listen to my panic attack song on loop, I fell asleep and it was still on in the morning.

And you know what happened?

I reassessed. I applied for a different class under a different teacher. And I walked away with a 90.

It is never that serious. Have the panic attack you need to have. Then think about what went wrong where. And then you get up and you try again and know that’s all you can do.

How's everyone doing on the fourth day of the government being on double fire? Aka the shutdown. It's normally on fire but it's double fire right now.

Well we lasted a whole month without the government- we can get through this on 1,203 days left

I got three tests between me and Thanksgiving break. I will not back down.

When I'm doing my homework for analytical chem I have a running version of that song that does "we aren't not going to take. No- we ain't going to take it-" but my brain has distorted it to "we aren't going to make it." This is specifically due to how much I hate that class. And guess what. I always make it. We are going to get through this
