I have mixed feelings about posting in the amanda the adventurer fandom every day because somehow without fail i will see my mutuals criticize other people and then meet their unbiased theories with the exact same disrespect and lack of courtesy or even thought than the people who didn't go along with their own theories. most of you were wrong. that's okay. you didn't like how they approached wooly. that's okay. you don't have to come up with a moral reason to shit on people who just.. liked it.. saw it coming.. or didn't like the child theory. it's disheartening and uncomfortable for me to see because i held those same feelings and still partially do and i feel like if i wasn't yalls mutual or favorite artist id be hit with rocks as well.
it was a facade. a facade meant to be deconstructed by the audience, and it's not like people are insulting you because they acknowledged that they saw through it. I understand that these characters mean a lot to you, they mean a lot to me too, but taking a step back would really do some good.
ive seen people criticize the developers as PEOPLE for not making wooly a child who is a victim of abuse like amanda. as PEOPLE. PEOPLE. not just developers but WHO THEY ARE MORALLY based upon a writing decision that didn't go their desired way. that's disgusting. you're not entitled to anything from an indie studio that doesn't know who the hell you are.
