Idle Lovers-All Control
Title: All Control Artwork: Type: Single Record Label: Tast Music Hackney (East London)based indie rock four-piece released their debut single Big Impression to critical acclaim a few moths back and now they've returned to the fray with a brand new indie anthem in the shape of All Control. Imagine if you will a combination of XTC and The Mystery Jets, imagine a bouncy quirky track full of infectious hooks and a chorus catchier than the common cold, imagine a band that make you want to holler and dance like a loon whilst informing everyone you know that you've discovered indie-pop perfection. You might think that I'm getting a little carried away with All Control and you'd be right, I'm being lifted up and carried away to the nearest indie dance floor to try and teach everyone how to dance, this track makes me want to shimmy and shout, Idle Lovers have welded a stupid grin on this reviewers face and it'd been there ever since the first spin of this disc. And if that wasn't enough the b-sides Finbe Line and Where Were You When The Lights Went Out? are just as good.
