A Breather | Otto & Ram
Otto had absolutely no idea what was going on today. Was it a festival? An event? He tried to check his phone but couldn’t find anything. The entire line of shops that dotted the street he found himself on were completely packed. Even the bar! Really, he just wanted to take a break and get some food in his belly! After all, traffic and the denizens of Shizume were merciless. If you so much as put a horse drawn carriage on the road it slowed down traffic and the abuse he’d had to suffer because of it really took the wind out of his sails.
“Uuu.. Maybe I should invest in a car after all...” he thought to himself as he parked his carriage along the side of the road, his hands stroking the animal’s mane once he had finished supplying it with food and drink from the back. It would be all too easy for someone to walk up and steal what they wanted given that it was an open carriage, but that’s what his horse was for! Also since he’d only be a short distance away, he’d just set up some tiny little barriers thanks to his aura. Hopefully they held out long enough for him to enjoy a good meal.
“I can’t believe this is the only place that isn’t packed..” Otto eyed the ornate sign that decorated the maid cafe and his cheeks flushed a bit in embarrassment. He’d never been to one. Just what kind of fetish establishment was this!? Well, as long as they had good food he couldn’t really complain.
Once he walked in he was in awe. It felt like a whole other world. This place was designed to cater to men and yet the interior decoration was so girly and frilly. Was it to give the impression of being inside a girl’s room? That would definitely get a man’s heart pumping! How cunning these maid’s be.
He stood there, clueless for a moment. Was this a sit down and order type of establishment or did he have to order from up front? He began to sweat, brows knitted in confusion and panic. As he was turning from side to side at a loss of what to do, a pink haired maid passed him out and he raised out a hand to signal for her attention. “Uh, excuse me, miss? What am I supposed to do? I’d kind of like to order some food if it’s okay?”
