Why do you have to make false statements about your Mormon parents on Facebook? Does it make you feel better about yourself to demean us? You are such a hypocrite. You want acceptance and love but you don't do the same for others. You don't accept us for who we are. We are now your "Mormon" parents like we after (are) some derisive entities out ther. Do we post nasty comments or memes against you or gay people? We accept you, love you, help you. You take that help and then turn around and use us and laugh at us behind our backs. You text me how you love me. You are sweet and kind to my face, but really all along you must despise me for you to treat me like this. What have Dad and I done to deserve your contempt? Love you? Care for you? Try to understand you? You in return lie to us, manipulate us, use us. You don't hesitate to use our cars to meet men to use them to gratify your sexual needs. But we are the monsters. We are the ones you have to demonize on social media. For what end? Does it help you sleep at night? Does it help you feel better about yourself? I'm so sad that we have been reduced to this in your eyes. So what now? You just going to come home and lie to us, use us, and demean us more while we give all we can to you? Doesn't seem fair. Yet of course we will continue to support you as best as we can. That's who we are even if you can't see it. And just to be clear, we have done nothing but try to talk to you about being gay. You are the one who doesn't talk. We don't "sweep it under the rug" as you say. We tell our family and friends so they know and can show their love for you. We try to talk to you about your feelings. You are the silent one. We try to understand you but if you don't talk how can we? We don't want to change you. We just hope you will make good choices in your life. Sleeping around and exposing yourself to sexually transmitted diseases is reckless and dangerous. It's not love. I am glad you want to help others come to terms with their identities. Just be sure to get yourself in a good place first. Stop blaming us.
