Week 7, Day 6: That's not the face I had with my slow run this morning. That's the face I had when I was standing outside talking to @terri519 about how u was a little slow but I still finished the 4.5mi in this heat. A sloppily dressed dude at least my age over heard me say "...too slow..." while I happened to be looking at my splits on my phone. He says with GREAT excitement, "Oh, are you playing Pokémon?!" Terri laughed and I just looked at him like he was crazy. Yeah...I was chasing Pokémon at like 9am on Saturday in this heat. SMH. Tough couple weeks but trying to slide back in the groove as the second half of my summer projects kicks into high gear. Off pace for my 10K race in August, but I'll make it happen.
