“Hooked Up” is only 70-something minutes long, yet cannot find material to fill that space that isn’t annoying, boring, or both at the same time.
While this review is very cynical, it makes some fair points about the plot of this movie. This made me think about having a clear plot and purpose for my pieces in order for the viewers to understand it - using the Gestalt Theory: Our ability to acquire and maintain meaningful perceptions in an apparently chaotic world. It also made me think What are the differences between feature films for entertainment and art films?
